2018 Audi Q8Nov 3rd, 2017
Stunning. It’s the most suitable word that comes to mind when describing the all-new 2018 Audi Q8 Crossover SUV. The concept version has been teased at a few select auto shows, but the Q8 will officially be coming to North America as a production vehicle. This new Audi is scheduled to arrive as a 2019 model and will be available strictly as a 5-seat SUV.
Here are a few reasons the 2018 Audi Q8 is such a formidable vehicle:
A clear step forward in SUV design, the Q8 has a protruding front end that gives it a bold, confident appeal. The frameless windows are a unique feature on a SUV and lend a “four-door-coupe feel” to the Q8. While similar in size to the Audi Q7, the Q8 is slightly shorter and has wider “hips” which you can clearly see when looking at the Audi Q8 from behind; the full-length tail light is a small, gorgeous touch that really helps the Q8 stand out from the crowd.
“The Audi Q8 will have huge road presence thanks to its imposing size, sporty sloping roofline and squat stance.” – CarWow
Under the Hood
The first Q8 models arriving in Canada will be powered by Audi’s 3.0T V6 engine that puts out an impressive 333 hp. Audi is expected to offer the Q8 with a range of engine options worldwide, including hybrid versions. The original concept model of the Q8 showed the SUV powered by Audi’s e-tron hybrid technology, but no launch date has been set for North America yet.
