Preview of 2019 Audi A7Jan 23rd, 2018
The redesigned 2019 Audi A7 Sportback will arrive this summer and we couldn’t be more excited to get behind the wheel of this athletic, confident, luxury car. Ideal for long drives on the weekend, or cruising around town with your significant other on a nice, moonlit night. Driving the Audi A7 Sportback is more than a car, it’s an experience.
Driving the fine line between luxury and performance, the Audi A7 Sportback is a confident vehicle that delivers high-end performance, comfort, and advanced features in a sleek, gorgeous package. For 2019, the new model receives a wider and slightly shorter body that gives the A7 a striking and prominent stance. The A7 Sportback also gets updated exteriors lights and a new grille design.
“…new A7 wears Audi’s latest design language, which features a wider, more hexagonal version of Audi’s shield grille. Shortened front and rear overhangs snip 0.6 inches from the A7’s overall length, while flared fenders provide the low-slung four-door with a less slab-sided look compared with its predecessor.” – Car and Driver
Inside the new Audi A7, you get an all-new design that brings advanced technology to a new level. The interior design is simple and intuitive, with both the driver and passengers able to control the A7’s many features via voice commands or using the large 10.1-inch display that allows you to access navigation, music, digital messages, etc. Some models are even available with Audi’s digital cockpit that replaces standard gauges with a 12.3-inch digital display.
“The new A7 sheds Audi’s old infotainment roller-knob system for one that relies on voice commands and wide touchscreens–a 10.1-inch panel that displays maps and other functions, and a secondary 8.6-inch screen that displays climate functions, drive modes, and accepts handwritten input.” – The Car Connection
Innovative, Powerful, Efficient
Under the hood of the 2019 Audi A7 Sportback is a 3.0L V6 engine—producing 340 hp and 369 lb.-ft. of torque—and comes paired with a seven-speed transmission. Together they deliver an incredible ride and acceleration. New advanced start/stop features also help put the Audi A7 in a class of its own.
“…the A7 features a 48-volt primary electrical system and a belt alternator starter that works in conjunction with a lithium-ion battery to create regenerative braking and enable the car to coast with the engine off at speeds between 34 to 99 mph (55 to 160 km/h). The car’s engine start/stop system can now activate at speeds up to 14 mph (23 km/h) and, with the help of the front camera, the A7 will restart once it sees the vehicle in front of you moving forward.” – Motor Trend
